Giving Back to the Community

Volunteering has been a significant part of my journey, allowing me to use my skills to support and uplift my community. Over the years, I have taken on leadership roles in fundraising, event coordination, and community communications, contributing to initiatives that bring people together and create lasting impact.

Through my involvement with Friends of the Village at LLV and the LPS P&C, I have played a key role in community engagement, fundraising, events and program management, ensuring that the schools and their programs for the students receive the support they need. My ability to organise, communicate, and problem-solve has been instrumental in leading teams, managing events, and streamlining processes.

Some of my key volunteer contributions include:

• Leadership & Coordination: Serving as Vice President and Comms Lead, managing newsletters and event communications.

• Fundraising & Events: Planning and executing large-scale fundraising initiatives to support schools and community programs.

• Program Management: Overseeing school music programs, coordinating tutors, rehearsals, and compliance requirements.

• Operational Support: Assisting in canteen operations and introducing online ordering systems for efficiency.

These experiences have reinforced my passion for teamwork, organisation, and making a difference—values that I carry into my professional life as well. I believe that communities thrive when people come together, and I’m proud to contribute my skills to meaningful causes.
